About Knightcode

KnightCode is a collaborative and interactive conversation tool that built like a game. It's designed to help families have conversations and align around their values.

These conversations are rarer than they should be and KnightCode opens the door to discuss what you and your family believe are your core values.

All Welcome 

It's built to be accessible for all families – queer, non-traditional, blended families and step-families, families going through a divorce, empty-nesters and traditional families. There are so many wonderful, loving and diverse families. This activity was created to bring us together and was designed for all of us.

 

Concept Origination

KnightCode came from the idea of modernizing the medieval coat of arms or family crest. Most of us cannot trace back to such times and nor would many of us really want to. We wanted to bring the visual element that a coat of arms offers into today’s aesthetic. At the end of your time with KnightCode, you too will have a visual reminder to display your family values!

Our Name

We are all out here being warriors and knights, fighting hard battles every day to be kind, grounded, loving and fair. Our values cannot be seen but they resonate deeply within each of us, like our genetic code. In fact, the display is a little bit of a play on the double helix of the DNA strand. So we brought these two concepts together for our name - KnightCode.

Where We Are Today

After producing a few versions ourselves and trying them out with different families, we have selected a perfect manufacturing partner to help bring this product to a wider audience. We just need the support from others who see what we see.

We are launching on Kickstarter in the upcoming weeks to allow early supporters to help us get it up and going. With strong support, we can fully fund the project and bring this kit to families far and wide!
